So anyways... what's been up with us? We've been so busy it's almost not funny (but it's good to be busy, right?).
I just got done coding a lot of new stuff for the site. One important thing was working on some new code to the payment processing. I added a lot of things, I'll give a run down.
1) Submitting payments from emails that aren't your assigned PayPal email now instantly notify you that we will not process it BUT it allows you 24 hours to fix your PayPal email yourself through our site. When you "fix your PayPal" it will scan all unpaid orders from you and then cycle through every transaction submitted for said order and adjust them ALL to be valid and "saving" your order. Even though I "worked around" a minoir, yet annoying problem we run in to please for the love of god pay attention to the bold parts of our site. I do not bold them for my health.
2) I added the ability for ALL staff to refund orders directly from the site as opposed to myself running them nightly due to not all staff having PayPal account access.
3) Refunds, Chargebacks, and Dispute + Unauthorized usage claims are now fully recognized by our system and visible in your transaction logs. Chargebacks and Reversals now also automatically lock your account, ban ALL ips you've logged on our site with, and add you to our global scammer database which we share with 4 other .COMS and 5 eBayers. This helps not so much us, but our friends as we had to manually add people to the scamlist before and that gave plenty of hours for them to hit our sister sites as well.
4) I fixed a few bugs with the feedback script and added a new FAQ (what are raffles, etc) -- you should read that one, we get the question a LOT. If it motivates you to read it be aware raffles are FREE and include a prize! =]
5) We've noticed a LOT of people have been enjoying our insane sale. The sale will end on the 1st of the month and prices will go back up to what they were 6 days ago and before (mainly a quarter to a buck/2bucks per item depending on how rare the item). We launched our 1 year anniversary sale a lot sooner than the actual date, but that's because we want to give back to everyone who has let us survive the first year on the .COM ; myself, being an ex gold level eBay Power Seller, sure has become extremly happy with the success and overall development of this website and I can honestly say I do not miss eBay at all!
Last, but not least, myself and Adam are working hard on the next bits of new code for the site. This will include the voting poll (I know I'm running late on that, but the payment processing stuff needed addressed ASAP), fully automating the custom item request system (payments, ordering, etc), upgrading the contact us system to be online and logged better so staff members know who has replied to who, focusing more on making better FAQs and keeping them up to date, and many other things.
We would also like to remind you that a lot of the order system and payment processing has been re-coded, a lot from scratch, as I mentiond earlier so that generally means there could be bugs.
