UPDATE 10/13/2006(11:12 AM CST):
Finally got a temporarily solution (PayPal has not fixed the problem yet but I re-programmed a little bit around it for now) up and the cart is re-enabled. We mass mailed all users to let them know. As said in the email if you sent an order between 12:00am-10:00 am or so yesterday you need to email refunds@d2supplies.com with your order # otherwise no one can refund you. Only I can refund people manually so send it there or do not expect anyone to help (no transaction data was logged for other staff to issue refunds)

UPDATE 8:45PM CST:
There's still no sign of life from PayPal. Please understand we did not close our shopping cart except for the sole reason we have to. We get too many orders a day to process by hand, not to mention, we have multiple staff who do not have access to the paypal account you send to (only I do), so everything is 100% automated. The jist of it is that PayPals system that notifies each business account holder (ie, us) that payments have been made to their account is broken. I'm sure there's thousands of sellers riding their butt about the problem so all I can say is please be patient. I want the cart enabled much more than you do.... but our entire website is 99.9% automated and this cripples the core of the site in many ways (stock adjusting, multiple staff issueing refunds, knowing orders exist, getting echeck updates, yada ,yada).

We do not mind you contacting us but understand we do NOT control when it's fixed. PayPal's programming team has to fix this problem. We can do nothing but wait. We almost ALWAYS have staff working 24/7 (there's 3 of us mind you) and everyone one of them can enable the cart when the problem is fixed. I can assure you that the cart will be enabled within minutes of us finding out the problem is resolved.... afterall we are a business and this is hurting us much more than it is bothering you.

Update Again (2:19pm CST): I just got off the phone with PayPal merchant support and they have indeed confirmed there's a problem with their IPN system (what notifies our system of your payments) and their engineers are working on fixing the problem.

Unfortuantly, since it is not a problem with our site directly we can only hope PayPal fixes this FAST and not their usual slow "we will fix it" approach....

The guy I talked to said he will email or call me back once the problem is fixed and then I will re-enable the cart as soon as possible. Hopefully they will also send out all the IPNs that haven't been sent so people who have paid but are getting unpaid will get their orders fixed vs refunded.

If I hear nothing back by late evening I will temporarily disable the system that cancels unpaid orders 24 hours old so we can hopefully save you all time of re-ordering.

Again I apologize for this but it's out of our hands and we will keep you updated and re-enable the cart as soon as PayPal confirms they fixed the problem.
